Features
TempReas provides a set of features dedicated to System Dynamics, allowing users to build, calculate, visualize and analyze dynamic models.
Dynamic modeling
TempReas allows users to build dynamic models from calculation, visualization and organizational elements:
- stocks;
- flows: the actions associated with flows incorporate the rules that define the relationships between model elements and determine its behavior;
- variables;
- 3D objects: TempReas allows users to create and represent 3D objects linked to model elements;
- information panels: these can display text, comments, results or images directly within the model. They can also group model elements, including other panels, and allow them to be moved individually or as a group.
Time management
Time is a central element of the model.
Actions can be scheduled individually using specific time parameters.
Vectors and domains
TempReas allows users to create vectors containing one or more domains.
When a vector is associated with an element, each element[domain] association can be initialized with specific values.
This approach makes it possible to represent richer models and compare different variants of the same system.
Dynamic graphical visualization
Visualization is a major feature of TempReas.
After calculation, the model can be explored dynamically:
- stocks display their evolving values;
- flows represent their variations;
- dependencies graphically represent the relationships between model elements;
- graphs make it possible to observe changes over time;
- 3D objects are animated according to the values of the elements to which they are associated;
- information panels can dynamically display information related to the model.
Users can therefore analyze the behavior of the model directly through its representation.
Organizing and presenting complex models
TempReas allows a model to be organized across multiple display levels.
This feature facilitates the exploration of complex models by allowing their different levels of detail to be presented progressively.
The first level can present the fundamental elements of the system, while subsequent levels can enrich this representation by adding new elements while retaining those already presented.
This approach makes it possible to build a progressive view of the model and facilitates its presentation, understanding and analysis.
Viewing and exporting results
Calculated values can be selected, viewed and exported.
Results from one or more elements can be grouped into tables and then exported to external tools for further analysis.
Build, calculate, visualize and analyze.
TempReas brings these different features together in a single environment dedicated to System Dynamics, enabling a complete exploration of dynamic models.
